Nguluvhe makes life easier for Grade 7 pupils in Beitbridge East

Grade 7 pupils in Beitbridge East Constituency have received a timely boost ahead of their final primary school examinations, thanks to an education support programme rolled out by the Minister of State for Matabeleland South and local legislator, Honourable Albert Nguluvhe.

On 10 September 2025, Hon. Nguluvhe confirmed that he had successfully sourced learning materials for all 35 primary schools in the constituency. Each Grade 7 pupil will now benefit from a set of basic stationery comprising a ruler, pencil, and pen.

The initiative, according to Hon. Nguluvhe, is aimed at ensuring that learners are adequately equipped as they sit for their crucial end-of-primary exams.

“This initiative is a testament to my commitment as your Member of Parliament to support the education and development of our children. I believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and I am proud to play a role in making that a reality,” he said.

He further praised school administrators and teachers for their dedication to shaping the future of learners, while encouraging parents and guardians to remain actively involved in their children’s studies.

Education, Hon. Nguluvhe noted, is the backbone of sustainable development and an investment that will yield lasting results for the constituency and the country at large.

“Our children are the future leaders of Zimbabwe. By equipping them with the tools they need today, we are building a stronger tomorrow for Beitbridge East,” he added.

Parents have welcomed the gesture, describing it as a morale booster not only for learners but also for struggling families in rural areas where resources are often limited.

“This is a big relief for us as parents. Sometimes we struggle to provide even the simplest of learning materials. Knowing that our children now have the tools they need for exams gives us peace of mind,” said Thokozile Moyo, a mother of two Grade 7 learners.

Another parent, Farai Ncube from Dumba Primary School, said the move demonstrated that their MP was genuinely concerned about the welfare of the community.

“We are very happy with this support. It might look small to some people, but to us it is huge. Our children will now face their exams with confidence,” he said.

Hon. Nguluvhe assured residents that this was only part of his broader plan to address education challenges and improve livelihoods in Beitbridge East.

His intervention has not only eased the burden on families but has also reinforced the importance of investing in the future through education.
