Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) Commissioner Business Development and Entrepreneurship, Commissioner Hove, visited Manicaland Province and toured the Mutare Prison Farm, Pamberi Qhubekani Investments, piggery SBU.
In her delegation the Commissioner was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner G. Ncube, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of PQI, Supt Mutendi, Company secretary, PCO Sibiya, Chief Operating Officer PQI, PCO Takaendesa PQI Finance Manager and Mr Nzwetu who is the Sales and Marketing Manager of PQI.
The purpose of the visit was for Commissioner Hove to familiarize with the PQI Mutare SBU activities as well as to have a feel of the PQI company activities, which falls under her section.
Pamberi Qhubekani Investments is a company which is wholly owned by the Government of Zimbabwe through ZPCS. It is responsible for all the commercial contracts which the ZPCS engages in with the business community.
The Commissioner was pleased with the work being done by officers at PQI Mutare SBU. The delegation toured the piggery projects where it was noted that there was great room for expansion of the project.
