The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a case of baby dumping which occurred on 24/09/25, where a newly born baby girl was found dumped at a dumping site in Kambuzuma Section 3, Harare. The baby, who was placed in a black plastic bag, was rescued alive and referred to Sally Mugabe Hospital for further medical care. Meanwhile, Police in Bulawayo are investigating a case of baby dumping in which the body of a newly born baby was found in Mganwini Extension on 25/09/25. The body, which was buried in a pit, was exhumed by an excavator during land development.
