Harare – Popular Zimbabwean musician Saintfloew has been hospitalised following a sudden illness, his promoter Tinashe Mutarisi has confirmed in a heartfelt update shared on social media. The artist is currently admitted at Corporate 24 Hospital in Harare, where medical professionals are working to determine the cause of his condition.
According to Mutarisi, Saintfloew fell ill shortly after performing at the recent show held at Gwanzura Stadium. The promoter revealed that he had spoken to Saintfloew after the event, during which the singer reported feeling feverish.
“I encouraged him to visit the hospital,” Mutarisi wrote. “But Saint being Saint, he never called. I assumed he had recovered.”
However, days later, when Mutarisi followed up, the musician admitted he was still unwell and planned to seek medical attention at a clinic. His condition reportedly worsened, prompting family members to rush him to Corporate 24 Hospital for urgent care.
While specific details regarding his illness remain unclear, Mutarisi confirmed that doctors have started conducting tests to establish a diagnosis. Though currently outside the country, the promoter assured fans that the singer is in good hands.
“He’s in good hands with Bev by his side and under the care of a great medical team,” he said.
Mutarisi also appealed to fans and well-wishers to refrain from visiting or calling the artist at this time, stressing the need for rest and privacy. He promised to keep the public updated as more information becomes available.
