French school of Harare to host career forum

The French School of Harare will host a Career Forum this Friday, bringing together students, parents, and a range of professionals to present their careers and provide guidance on future opportunities. The event is organised in collaboration with the French Embassy in Zimbabwe.

In a statement, issued yesterday, Théo Lambert, Communication Officer at the French Embassy, said the Embassy will have a stand at the forum to interact with students and provide information on diplomatic careers, France’s external action, and opportunities for involvement in international cooperation programmes.

“The Career Forum offers an important platform to engage young people on career guidance and the future of Zimbabwe’s youth.

The event also reflects the international outlook promoted by the French School and the diversity of participating actors, including businesses, experts, and institutions,” Lambert added

Lambert noted that the event aligns with France’s commitment to education and youth development in Zimbabwe.

“The Career Forum demonstrates the dynamism of the educational community and its engagement with local stakeholders,” he said.

Meanwhile, events such as this forum aim to equip young people with information and networks that can support informed decisions about higher education, vocational training, and professional development.

The Career Forum also highlights the role of international schools in preparing students for global opportunities. By providing exposure to different career options and introducing students to international cooperation roles, the forum seeks to broaden perspectives beyond local contexts.
