Pre Mnangagwa departs for Angola ahead of AU–EU Summit


PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has left Harare for Luanda, Angola, where he is set to join fellow world leaders for the 7th African Union-European Union Summit, a high-level platform focused on strengthening cooperation between the two blocs.
The two-day gathering marks 25 years of formal partnership between the AU and EU and is expected to deliberate on political, economic, and development priorities shaping relations between Africa and Europe.
President Mnangagwa was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by Vice President General Retired Dr Constantino Chiwenga, Minister of Harare provincial affairs and devolution Senator Charles Tawengwa, Minister of Defence Honourable Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Cabinet Ministers, senior government officials and Service Chiefs.
