THE ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia, gets underway this Thursday, with three thrilling matches.
Co-hosts Zimbabwe kick off the tournament against Scotland at Harare’s Takashinga Cricket Club, with the match scheduled to start at 09:30.
The Young Chevrons, led by Simbarashe Mudzengerere, will look to make a strong start on home soil.
In Bulawayo, five-time champions India take on USA at the Queens Sports Club, while the day’s final match sees debutants Tanzania face 2016 champions, West Indies in Windhoek.
A total of 16 teams will battle it out in 41 matches for a spot in the Super Six stage, with the tournament running until February 6.
