Dairibord profit surges 159%

Dairibord Holdings recorded a sharp increase in profitability for the six months ended June 30, 2026, with profit attributable to shareholders rising 159% to US$3.25 million, driven by stronger sales volumes, improved product availability and better export performance.

In a statement accompanying the results, Dairibord said the strong performance reflected improved operating conditions and increased demand for its products.

“The Group delivered a strong performance for the six months ended 30 June 2026, underpinned by growth in sales volumes, improved product availability and enhanced export performance. Revenue increased by 28% to US$32.6 million, reflecting the positive contribution from higher volumes across the business,” the company said.

Dairibord said sales volumes increased significantly during the period, reaching 78.3 million litres, up 26%, while raw milk intake rose by six% to 20.4 million litres.

“The 26% increase in sales volumes to 78.3 million litres demonstrates the sustained demand for our products and the benefits of improved product availability. The increase was supported by stronger performance across our key product categories, while improved supply conditions enabled the Group to meet market demand more consistently,” Dairibord said.

The company said its improved access to raw materials also supported production, with raw milk intake increasing despite challenges affecting the operating environment.

“Raw milk intake increased by 6% to 20.4 million litres, providing a stronger foundation for production and supporting the growth in sales volumes. The improved availability of products, together with increased production capacity and supply reliability, contributed materially to the overall performance recorded during the period,” the company said.

Profit before tax rose to US$4.4 million, representing a 112% increase, while profit attributable to shareholders more than doubled, highlighting improved earnings performance.

Dairibord attributed the stronger bottom-line performance to the combination of volume growth, improved product availability and export gains.

“The significant growth in profit before tax and profit attributable to shareholders reflects the benefits of increased volumes and improved operational performance. Export performance also remained an important contributor to growth, allowing the Group to broaden its markets and strengthen revenue generation beyond the domestic market,” Dairibord said.

The company said the results demonstrate progress in strengthening its business and positioning the group for sustained growth.
