Arsenal travel to Villa Park tonight looking to make it two wins from two as the Premier League’s second matchweek comes to a close.
The defending champions started their title defence in style with a 3-0 win over Coventry City, and Mikel Arteta’s side will be confident of maintaining their perfect start.
Aston Villa, however, are desperate for a response after suffering a 4-0 defeat to Brighton on the opening weekend. Unai Emery’s side will hope home advantage can inspire a much-improved performance against the champions.
The match kicks off at 9pm Zimbabwe time.
Meanwhile, the second matchweek produced plenty of goals and drama. Manchester United thrashed Ipswich Town 5-2, with Bruno Fernandes scoring a hat-trick.
Chelsea edged Brighton 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller, while Newcastle beat Tottenham 2-0.
Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest, and Leeds and Brentford shared a 1-1 draw.
Sunderland claimed a valuable 1-0 victory over Fulham, while Bournemouth and Everton played out a 1-1 draw.
With Arsenal chasing another victory and Villa fighting to bounce back, all eyes will be on Villa Park tonight.
