BRIGADIER-General (Rtd) Mathias Tizirai Ngarava has been declared a National Hero.
The announcement was delivered to the Ngarava family at their Mapako residence in Chinhoyi by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Dr Jenfan Muswere.
Dr Muswere was accompanied by the Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Honourable Ziyambi Ziyambi, and the Minister of State for Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Honourable Marian Chombo.
Brigadier-General (Rtd) Ngarava is being honoured for his distinguished service and contribution to Zimbabwe.
