Insiza School receives 20 000 bricks under CDF

INSIZA NORTH – Pioneer Primary School has received a donation of 20 000 bricks under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), a development expected to accelerate the construction of additional classroom blocks and improve the learning environment for pupils.

The latest consignment was handed over by Insiza North legislator, Delani Moyo, who said the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen education infrastructure across the constituency. The donation follows an earlier allocation of 10 000 bricks and 100 bags of cement, also provided through the CDF.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, MP Moyo said investing in education remained one of his key priorities, adding that improved infrastructure was critical in enhancing access to quality education.

“Our children deserve safe, modern and conducive learning environments. This donation is part of our broader vision to ensure that every school in Insiza North has adequate infrastructure to support quality education.

“Through the prudent use of CDF resources, we are complementing Government efforts to build a brighter future for our communities and contribute to Vision 2030 under the leadership of President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa,” he said.

Parents and community members welcomed the donation, saying it would help address classroom shortages at the school.

Nomathemba Ndlovu said the support had brought renewed hope to learners and parents alike.

“We sincerely thank MP Moyo for remembering our children. This support gives us hope that our learners will soon have better classrooms and a more conducive environment to excel,” she said.

Another parent, Jabulani Sibanda, commended the legislator for consistently supporting community development initiatives through the CDF.

“We appreciate the Honourable Member of Parliament for his commitment to improving education. The consistent support through CDF shows that development is reaching our communities, and we are confident our children’s future is in good hands,” he said.

The donation is expected to speed up construction works at Pioneer Primary School as Insiza North continues implementing CDF-funded projects targeting education, health, water and sanitation, and other critical public infrastructure to improve the livelihoods of local communities.
