Wai Ching Ho, the actress who rose to fame as Madame Gao in the Marvel series “Daredevil,” has died at the age of 82.
“Just lost someone very special to me. She was one of the coolest. Thinking aloud. #Gao 🙏😔,” her “Daredevil” costar Peter Shinkoda wrote via Instagram on Saturday, alongside a pensive photo of himself.
In another Instagram post, the actor shared two photos of the actress as Madame Gao, who also appeared in “The Defenders” and “Iron Fist.”
“I won’t ever forget you,” he captioned a solo photo of the actress, along with a still of himself as recurring villain Nobu Yoshioka opposite Ho’s Madame Gao.
“I learned every minute from you when we were together on and off set. I know wisdom – I’d hang on your every word. We will meet again, my friend. You were beautiful.”
On Sunday, actor Perry Yung — who appeared with the actress in 2018’s “High Resolution” — spoke out about Ho’s death, as well.
“It’s a very emotional moment for all of us who knew Wai Ching Ho,” he began, noting that the MCU actress “passed away peacefully after a stroke two days ago.”
