ZANU PF has announced a series of high-level meetings involving its top decision-making organs, with the sessions set to take place this week at the party’s headquarters in Harare.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, ZANU PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Christopher Mutsvangwa, said the meetings had been convened on the advice of the party’s Secretary-General, Jacob Mudenda.
The programme begins on Wednesday, 1 July with the 394th Ordinary Session of the Politburo, which is scheduled to start at 10am.
This will be followed by the 131st Ordinary Session of the Central Committee on Thursday, 2 July, also commencing at 10am.
The week will conclude with the 27th Ordinary Session of the National Consultative Assembly on Friday, 3 July beginning at 10am.
All three meetings will be held at the ZANU PF Headquarters in Harare, with members expected to be seated by 9:45am ahead of the start of proceedings.
“The above meetings will be held at the ZANU PF Headquarters and all members are expected to be seated by 9.45am sharp,” Ambassador Mutsvangwa said.
The Politburo, Central Committee and National Consultative Assembly are among ZANU PF’s highest decision-making bodies, responsible for deliberating on party policy, organisational affairs and matters of national importance.
