Bulawayo Chiefs have been fined US$2 000 by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following misconduct during and after their Chibuku Super Cup first-round match against Hardrock at Chahwanda Stadium on Sunday.
Assistant coach Agent Sawu and team captain Melikhaya Ncube were also each fined US$500 over their involvement in the incidents.
The PSL said the club, Sawu and Ncube were charged under Order 15 of the PSL Standing Orders, Offences and Fines, which prohibits conduct that disrupts the orderly proceedings of matches.
The order covers offences including violent or aggressive behaviour, damage to equipment and other forms of unbecoming conduct before, during or after matches.
The fines come as the PSL continues to enforce disciplinary measures against clubs and individuals found guilty of misconduct during domestic competitions
