FAZ Trust strengthening grassroots empowerment for youths and women across Zimbabwe

A Zanu PF affiliate, Forever Associates Zimbabwe (FAZ) Trust, has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering youth and women across the nation, encouraging their active participation in national development.

In an interview with The Harare Post, at the ZITF, FAZ President, Kudakwashe Mavhula Munsaka, outlined the organisation’s mandate and highlighted how it is empowering young people and women through various initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, skills development, and community participation.

Munsaka said, “Our task is basically to advance the mandate of Zanu PF, to make sure that the ideology of Zanu PF which is gwara regutsaruzhinji is understood out there.”

He said FAZ has a duty to make sure that its members are taken care of as the nation heads towards Vision 2030, citing President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s mantra of living No one and no place behind.

Munsaka further disclosed that FAZ has about 5000 volunteer members across the country.

“We are in a process of finalising some investments, in key sectors of the economy, in mining and transport to make sure  that we empower our members who are scattered across the country,” ge said.

Moreover, he said FAZ members are not seasonal but are always on the ground, and they have never stopped working since 2023.

Meanwhile, Young Women for Economic Development Representative, Siphosenkosi Thee said the affiliate is confident that Constititional Amendment number 3 (CAB3) will unlock greater opportunities for their projects, driving innovation, empowerment, and sustainable growth. Young Women for Economic Development are also exhibiting at the on-going 66th Edition of ZITF.
