Nurse Aides 4ED has reaffirmed its nationwide support for Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3, with members in Chegutu District publicly endorsing the proposed legislation during a meeting attended by party leaders and district representatives.
The gathering brought together nurse aides from across the district, who said the Bill represents progress, stability, and continuity in national development efforts aimed at achieving Vision 2030 and implementing the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2).
Speaking during the meeting, provincial chairpersons stressed that Zimbabwe is a sovereign nation whose future must be shaped by its citizens.
“We are supporting Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 because we believe in building our country with our own hands,” said Memory Dube, a nurse aide from Chegutu Central Hospital. “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo. As citizens, we have a responsibility to support policies that promote development, innovation, and national unity.”
Another nurse aide, Tariro Muchengeti, said the amendment would provide leadership continuity needed to complete ongoing national projects.
“The world is changing rapidly, and Zimbabwe cannot afford to remain behind,” she said. “Innovation and consistency are important for economic growth. We believe this Bill gives the President enough time to fully implement national goals that will benefit ordinary people.”
Members of Nurse Aides 4ED declared that they stand firmly behind the Bill, describing themselves as part of the “majority voice” determined to influence the country’s future through democratic participation.
The organization reiterated that its support for the amendment extends across all provinces, with members mobilizing communities to back what they called a people-driven vision for Zimbabwe’s development.
“We are the voters, we are the citizens, and today we are proudly saying YES to Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3,” members chanted during the gathering.
