The Embassy of Italy in Zimbabwe has congratulated Zimbabwean students awarded scholarships under the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation programme
In a statement, yesterday, the Italian Embassy said the opportunities will help young people advance their academic and professional aspirations and make a meaningful contribution to their communities.
“Congratulations to all the students who have been awarded scholarships.The scholarships represented an important investment in young Zimbabweans, providing beneficiaries with an opportunity to pursue further studies while gaining knowledge and experiences that could shape their future careers.
We are proud to support young Zimbabweans as they pursue their academic and professional aspirations,”the Embassy added
The embassy urged the students to make full use of the opportunity, emphasising the potential benefits beyond obtaining academic qualifications.
“May this opportunity open new doors, inspire new ideas and empower you to contribute meaningfully to your communities,” it said.
The scholarship programme is administered through Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and provides opportunities for eligible foreign students to undertake studies in Italy.
For the Zimbabwean beneficiaries, the scholarships are expected to broaden their academic exposure while giving them an opportunity to interact with different academic, professional and cultural environments.
