Simba Bhora signs Chakuchichi from Spain to bolster squad ahead of CAF Champions League

Reigning Castle Lager Premier Soccer League side Simba Bhora have bolstered their squad by signing defender Munashe Chakuchichi.

The 22-year-old left back joins Simba from the Spanish side UD San Fernando.

Chakuchichi is the brother of Scottland’s rising youngster Tadiwa Chakuchichi, who boasts three PSL appearances.

Simba Bhora is set to represent Zimbabwe in the CAF Champions League later this month, and Chakuchichi’s signing is part of preparations to strengthen their squad ahead of the big task.

The Shamva-based side will open their African Safari adventure with a clash against Eswatini’s Nsingizi Hotspurs in the first round of the preliminary round.

Due to the unavailability of a CAF-approved stadium in the country, Simba will host Nsingizi at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown on the 19th of September before travelling for the return fixture the following week.
