Newcastle 2:0 Nottingham Forest

Goals: Gimaraes (58), Voltemade (84, pen).

As expected at St. James’ Park, the hosts strengthened in the second half. Bruno Guimarães opened the scoring in the 58th minute with a precise shot from the edge of the penalty area. At the end of the game, Voltemade scored a point heavier than the 11-meter mark – 2:0. The victory allowed the “Shield Keepers” to consolidate their position in the middle of the tournament table, while the “Forest Rangers” again remained without points.

Everton 2-1 Crystal Palace
Goals: Ndiaye (76, pen.), Grealish (90+3) – Munos (37).

There was a fierce struggle at Goodison Park. As part of the visitors, Munos opened the scoring in the 37th minute, but the scenario changed in the second half: Iluman Ndiaye confidently converted a penalty in the 76th minute, and in extra time, Jack Grealish delighted his team with a 2-1 victory. This ended Glasner’s 19-match unbeaten streak across all competitions.

Aston Villa 2:1 Burnley
Goals: Malen (25, 63) – Ugochukvu (78).

Malen, who became a star with a brace in the match in Birmingham, became the main character – he scored in the 25th and 63rd minutes.
