Lyshanda Moyas concludes Miss Universe 2025 journey

Zimbabwe’s Lyshanda Moyas has concluded her Miss Universe 2025 journey, bowing out after securing a spot in the Top 30. Though she narrowly missed advancing further, her performance has been widely praised and celebrated back home.

Miss Universe organisers acknowledged her dedication and hard work on the global stage, noting that her presence in Bangkok captured significant national attention.

Miss Universe Zimbabwe National Director, Tendai Hunda, said the organisation was proud of Moyas’ showing. “This is our third year on the Miss Universe stage, and we have learnt so much … What we have now is a combination of all that experience,” she said.

Hunda added that this was Moyas’ first international competition, making her achievement even more notable.

While her Miss Universe journey comes to an end, Moyas’ confidence and poise have left a lasting impression, inspiring pride and optimism across the country. Already, interest is mounting from potential partners seeking to engage her as a brand ambassador or tourism envoy.

Hunda added that as Moyas returns home, she is expected to enter a new phase of opportunity given her international visibility and refined public profile.

“Her strong communication skills make media and television presenting promising avenues, while modelling agencies, tourism bodies and corporate organisations are similarly anticipated to pursue partnerships.”

The 23-year-old is also well-positioned for brand collaborations in fashion, beauty and lifestyle

Whether she chooses the runway, the screen, advocacy work or entrepreneurial ventures, Moyas’ Miss Universe experience has laid the foundation for a dynamic and multifaceted career.

The Top 12 finalists advancing to the evening gown segment are Chile, China, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Guadeloupe, Malta, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Thailand and Venezuela.
