In a move welcomed by creatives nationwide, the Zimbabwe Council of Copyrights (ZICCO) announced that it is offering free registration for artists throughout the festive period.
ZICCO Chief Executive, Tafadzwa Masembura, said the initiative aims to help creators protect their work and access royalties more effectively, bolstering the creative industry and supporting artists in 2026 and beyond.
The offer will run through 22 January 2026, allowing musicians and performers to safeguard their intellectual property rights at no cost.
