As the curtain comes down on 2025, Zimbabweans are set for a spectacular night of celebration, music and unforgettable memories. The country’s biggest merrymakers’ night has finally arrived and the party mood is undeniable.
With high expectations, citizens will joyfully usher in 2026, while the entertainment industry wraps up its most eventful season in grand style. A packed calendar of high-profile events kicks off tonight, offering revellers multiple choices for the perfect crossover experience. Amid the excitement, partygoers are encouraged to celebrate responsibly.
One Big Party Takes Centre Stage
One of the night’s most anticipated events is the One Big Party at Glamis Arena, headlined by two giants of Zimbabwean music, Jah Prayzah and Winky D. Promoter Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza says preparations are complete for what promises to be an iconic crossover event.
“Everything is now in place, and we are ready for the big night where history will be made,” Chipaz confirmed.
The star-packed line-up includes Kurai Makore, Killer T, Chill Master and Feli Nandi, setting the stage for a thrilling extravaganza. Killer T’s crowd-pulling performances, Feli Nandi’s rising dominance, and the energetic acts from Chill Master and Makore are expected to elevate the atmosphere.
Fans are particularly eager to witness Winky D’s signature choreography and Jah Prayzah’s chart-topping anthem Ruzhowa, considered a top contender for Song of the Year. The prospect of the two icons sharing one stage and possibly surprising fans with a joint act has intensified the buzz.
Mazowe Hosts the Mother of All Parties
In Mashonaland Central, Mazowe’s Baradzwanwa Cultural Village will host a massive musical fiesta, with Jah Prayzah once again taking the lead. He will share the stage with Tamy Moyo and Feli Nandi, giving Mazowe an exceptional star-studded treat.
While secular music lovers are spoilt for choice nationwide, gospel fans also have big celebrations lined up. Gospel powerhouse Janet Manyowa returns to the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) tomorrow for her popular annual worship event, A Night of Thanksgiving (ANOT 2026).
Manyowa says the concert, which brings together Zimbabwe and Africa’s celebrated gospel voices, is a moment of gratitude and spiritual reflection as the nation steps into a new year. Her supporting acts include Ada Ehi (Nigeria), Xolly Mncwango (South Africa), Pastor Charles and Olivia Charamba, Takesure Zamar Ncube, The Unveiled, Ellard & Sharon Cherayi, Joyful Praise Choir, and Everton Mlalazi.
“My message is one of gratitude, peace, and hope,” Manyowa said. “Let’s celebrate life, cherish our families and enter 2026 with love and unity.”
She expressed her desire for ANOT 2026 to deliver “a life-transforming encounter,” igniting testimonies, breakthroughs and spiritual renewal for all attendees. With her commitment to artistic excellence and heartfelt worship, the event promises to set the tone for a blessed and uplifting year ahead.
