President Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has appointed a new board for the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, marking a significant step in strengthening governance and regulatory oversight in the nation’s communications sector.
The board will be chaired by Professor Sam Takavarasha Jnr, with Ms Barbara Mukahanana as Deputy Chairperson. Their leadership is expected to provide strategic direction and reinforce Zimbabwe’s drive towards a modern, innovative and inclusive digital economy.
The appointments come as the Second Republic continues accelerating the country’s digital transformation agenda in line with Vision 2030.
