A retired senior army officer, Brigadier General (Rtd) Samuel Mpabanga, has died at the age of 69.
The death was confirmed in a statement issued this Wednesday by Commander Zimbabwe National Army, Lieutenant General Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi.
Lieutenant General Tapfumaneyi said Brigadier General (Rtd) Mpabanga died on Monday at Gwanda General Hospital following a long illness.
