Warriors return to Bulawayo for Four Nations Prep

The Zimbabwe senior national football team, the Warriors, will regroup in Bulawayo on Sunday ahead of the Four Nations Tournament set for Botswana at the end of this month.

The Four Nations Tournament, pitting hosts Botswana, Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe will be played in Francistown during the FIFA break from March 28 to March 31.

The Warriors will troop into camp on Sunday in Bulawayo ahead of the tournament.

Zimbabwe Football Association Spokesperson, Mike Madoda told the media that the Warriors will assemble in Bulawayo for a five-day camp, which is expected to end on Thursday, ahead of the team’s departure to Francistown.

Madoda added that they will conduct an open day for the media to engage with the coach and selected players.

The Warriors are using the FIFA break to assess combinations ahead of upcoming qualifiers after a disappointing show at the AFCON finals in Morocco.
