Zim-Botswana BNC focuses on trade, tourism and investment growth

President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa and his counterpart Botswana President, Advocate Duma Boko, are set to preside over the signing of 10 agreements under the Bi- National Commission (BNC) framework.

The meeting is a key platform to advance economic cooperation between the two countries within a structured regional framework.

Deliberations will review progress on commitments made at the previous BNC held in Maun, Botswana, in 2024, while outlining new areas of cooperation in trade, tourism, and environmental management.

Trade and investment facilitation will take centre stage, with efforts aimed at reducing cross-border barriers and improving the movement of goods and services.

The two nations are also seeking to strengthen tourism cooperation through joint cross-border routes to boost visitor numbers.
