Zim stars sweep into Global Cricket leagues

Zimbabwean cricketers continue to shine on the global franchise circuit, with all-rounder Ryan Burl signing with the Lahore Qalandars ahead of the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League.

The defending champions confirmed Burl as their final addition, completing a 20-man squad. The 31-year-old becomes the second Zimbabwean in the team, joining national T20 captain Sikandar Raza.

Burl’s signing follows Zimbabwe’s impressive performance at the T20 World Cup, which has boosted global interest in local players.

In another major development, Zimbabwe opener Brian Bennett has landed a franchise deal with Peshawar Zalmi, further highlighting the rising demand for Zimbabwean talent across top international leagues.
