English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers have been relegated following West Ham and Crystal Palace’s nil-all draw on Monday evening.
Wolves, home to Warriors players midfielder Marshall Munetsi and forward Tawanda Chirewa, who are both out on loan, cannot amass enough points in their last five games to avoid the drop and will return to the Championship for the first time since 2018.
Relegation looked inevitable for the Midlands club, which had been at the bottom of the log for most of the season and was winless in 19 matches.
