The annual showcase, currently underway in Bulawayo, has attracted a diverse mix of companies from across sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, mining, tourism, and technology. Speaking to The Harare Post, Sales and Marketing Director of Good Hope Leather Products, Grace Matsika, said the conducive business environment, coupled with policy reforms aimed at attracting investment, is creating new opportunities for growth and expansion.
Several exhibitors, including companies such Qualito Craft Distillery and a South African sportswear design and manufacturing company MMR Sports Indegenious from Limpopo Province, as well as other local exhibitors such as Mapfura Innovation Hub acknowledged that Zimbabwe’s efforts to streamline business processes, reduce regulatory bottlenecks, and promote public-private partnerships are enhancing investor confidence. The exhibitors concurred that the platform provided by ZITF is enabling them to explore partnerships, secure new markets, and strengthen existing business relationships.
The ZITF continues to serve as a strategic hub for networking, innovation, and economic dialogue, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and investors under one roof.
This year’s ZITF would be officially opened by Botswana President, Duma Boko on 23 April 2026, and runs under the theme, “Connected Economies, Competitive Industries.”
