Hardrock have eliminated Scottland from the Chibuku Super Cup after a fiercely contested quarter-final at Rufaro Stadium on Wednesday.
Neliswa Tiger Dlamini struck the decisive blow in the 14th minute, firing home from close range after being picked out by a brilliant cross from Lennox Mucheto.
The early goal gave Hardrock the advantage as they held Scottland at bay to carry their lead into the half-time break.
Scottland, who had beaten Hardrock 2-0 in their previous PSL meeting after their first encounter ended goalless, entered the cup tie seeking to maintain their edge over their title rivals.
Instead, Hardrock produced a determined performance to send their high-flying rivals out of the competition and book a place in the semi-finals.
The result adds another chapter to a rivalry that has featured prominently this season, with the two sides also locked in a tight PSL title race and still chasing honours in the Munhumutapa Challenge Cup.
Hardrock will face FC Hunters in the semi-finals, while CAPS United will host Highlanders at Rufaro Stadium in the other last-four clash.
