With a loaded schedule that barely seems to faze him, Meck is riding a wave of creative energy. Known for his soulful melodies and intricate guitar work, the musician has built an impressive catalogue over the years, with six acclaimed albums to his name.
His collaborations span the globe, having worked with artists from South Africa, the Netherlands, the United States, and Madagascar, cementing his status as a versatile and internationally recognized talent.

Festival-goers can expect to be swept away by the soulful rhythms of his public demand songs, including anthems like “Changu Chipo,” “Chigevenga,” “Monera tauro,” and the ever-popular “Mbuya Madhuve.”
“We are ready to light up the stage. Nyimbo Zakwatu is a celebration of our music and our stories, and I am honoured to be a part of it. The audience should prepare for a powerful connection and a night of pure, unfiltered Afro-Jazz,” Meck stated, exuding confidence ahead of the show.
While Meck is the undeniable headline act, he will be sharing the stage with a formidable roster of local talent, ensuring a rich and diverse musical journey from 3 PM to 9 PM.
The supporting lineup includes the vibrant sounds of Wowrae, the soul-stirring harmonies of Nokutenda & The Legacy Band, and the compelling performances of Thuthukani Ndlovu, Mary Anibal, Linda Gabriel, and Khaya Lami.
The cultural experience will be further deepened by performances from Matamba Film, the Usap Mbira Club, and Labs for Women.
The event will be held at the Alliance Française Harare, located at 328 Herbert Chitepo Avenue.
