The first car owned by President Emmerson Mnangagwa during his law studies at the University of Zambia has been auctioned for an impressive US$1.8 million at the ED-UNZA fundraising dinner held in Harare on Thursday night.
The vehicle was purchased by prominent businessman Kudakwashe Tagwireyi, who immediately donated it back to the ED-UNZA Fund, further strengthening the initiative aimed at supporting Zimbabwean students studying at the institution.
The gesture drew widespread commendation, marking a major boost to the scholarship programme dedicated to empowering Zimbabwean scholars.
