Zim sprint sensation Charamba shines at Yellow Jacket Meet

Zimbabwean sprint star, Makanakaishe Charamba, has made a strong start to his outdoor season, finishing on the podium at the Yellow Jacket Invitational in Atlanta, United States.


The Olympic finalist crossed the line in 10.34 seconds in his first competitive outing of the year, narrowly trailing Malaysia’s Azeem Fahmi, who finished in 10.33 seconds.


American Cameron Crump claimed victory in 10.20 seconds.


Charamba’s podium finish signals a strong start to the season as he builds momentum toward upcoming international meets. The sprinter, known for his explosive starts and finishing speed, will be aiming to improve his timing and consistency as he prepares for higher-level competitions.
