President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to officially launch the Citizen Engagement and Scoring Platform today at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), Rainbow Towers.
In a statement the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services said the new digital system will provide Zimbabweans with a direct channel to communicate with government, submit feedback and contribute to national development processes in real time.
“His Excellency President Mnangagwa is set to officially unveil the Citizen Engagement and Scoring Platform on 18 June 2026 at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), Rainbow Towers,” the Ministry said.
The Ministry explained that the digital tool is designed to bridge the gap between citizens and government structures by enabling structured feedback mechanisms that can be tracked and responded to more efficiently.
“The new digital tool is designed to give Zimbabweans a direct channel to share feedback, voice concerns and actively participate in shaping national development,” the Ministry said.
It added that the platform is expected to improve service delivery by allowing government institutions to receive immediate input from citizens on the quality and effectiveness of public services.
“By enabling real-time citizen input, the platform aims to foster greater accountability, strengthen public trust and mark a shift towards more inclusive, responsive governance.
The Citizen Engagement and Scoring Platform will also introduce a structured system through which government performance can be assessed based on public feedback, allowing authorities to identify gaps and respond more effectively to concerns raised by citizens,” the Ministry added.
The launch comes as Zimbabwe continues to accelerate the digitisation of public services, with authorities increasingly emphasising the role of technology in improving efficiency, reducing bureaucratic delays and enhancing citizen participation in governance processes.
