The competition, held on 17 May, once again showcased Mzilikazi’s trademark consistency and masterclass on the checkered board. With just weeks remaining in the season, the team is eyeing a strong finish that could see them officially crowned champions based on the points system.

Tournament organiser, Malvern Sangu praised the high level of play, saying, “Mzilikazi have shown exceptional discipline and structure. Their focus this season has been unmatched, and today’s performance proved exactly why they are the team to beat.”
