Zimbabwe Cricket has announced that Bangladesh will visit for a full all-format tour in late June and July, featuring one Test, three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals.
The series begins with the solitary Test at Harare Sports Club, running from 28 June to 2 July. It will be Zimbabwe’s first home Test of the year and an opportunity to continue the momentum built in their recent red-ball performances.
After the Test, attention turns to the 50-over format. Harare Sports Club will again host all three ODIs, scheduled for 6, 9 and 11 July.
The tour concludes in Bulawayo, where Queens Sports Club will stage the three-match T20I series on 15, 17 and 19 July.
This will be the first meeting between the sides since their two-Test series in Bangladesh last year, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Zimbabwe claimed a historic three-wicket win in the opener – their first Test victory in four years – before Bangladesh responded to level the series.
Zimbabwe Cricket is expected to release squad details and ticket information in the coming weeks as anticipation builds for the mid-year tour.
