Zimbabwe national team defender Gerald Takwara has joined Castle Lager Premier Soccer League debutants Hardrock FC, marking a return to domestic football after spells abroad in South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
The 31-year-old brings valuable international experience to the Kwekwe-based side, which is in its first season in the top flight.
Hardrock FC have been active in the transfer market as they seek to strengthen their squad for a strong finish to their debut campaign, with Takwara expected to significantly reinforce their defensive line.
His arrival is seen as a major boost for the club as they aim to remain competitive in the second half of the season and push for honours in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
